In her own words, her pursuit is that of musical documentation, in which soundscapes act as analogies to events and structures occurring in the natural world, impinging on the listener in the course of synesthesia achieved through a mixture of harmonics and timbres. Aside from composing, Stulgińska has been involved in a number of multimedia projects, cooperating with directors, choreographers, and new media artists. (AM)
