Anna Ignatowicz-Glińska

(*1968)

Composer; studied with Włodzimierz Kotoński and Szábolcs Esztény. She has written solo, chamber, symphony, and electronic pieces informed by the ideas of Gesamtkunstwerk. Glińska’s works are characteristically unpredictable since she utilizes improvisation and chance, and avoids rigid attachment to conventions, hence her multimedia projects may be classified as performance art.
