Borys Somerschaf

Russian-born conductor, vocalist, composer and arranger. For years based in Poland, Somerschaf’s activity as a performer involves vocal music, which he conducts and performs as a member of numerous choirs. As a soloist, he popularizes 19th century Russian romances. Fascinated by the liturgical music of Orthodox churches, which he performs as a member of the Kairos ensemble, Somerschaf collaborates with a number of theatres, writing for performances, documentaries and television series.
