Czesław Teofil Minkus

(*1957)

Composer and instrumentalist. Minkus has written broadly defined audiovisual compositions, trying to reach his audiences through various senses. In his work as composer, Minkus turns to both the latest electronic media as well as the more traditional ones, such as movement, images or acoustic sounds. He also applies the collage, which he feels leaves a lot of room for improvisation. Minkus’s works are vitally informed by space and the sonic transformations it entails. (KS)
