Ewa Fabiańska-Jelińska

(*1989)

Composer, musicologist, animator of music, initiator and co-organizer of numerous local and international cultural events. A large chunk of her oeuvre includes choral and chamber music. Apart from an exquisite sense of form and narration, Jelińska’s compositions are markedly lyrical, even though she does not avoid sonoristic effects and extended techniques. She draws her inspiration from painting and literature. She also deals with arrangements to expand the repertoire of music for wind instruments. (EC)
