Jacek Sotomski

(*1987)

Composer, percussionist, performer of new music. Sotomski’s music is a creative re-utilization of his fascination with contemporary composing trends and techniques, which he translates into his own musical language. His oeuvre includes pieces for traditional instruments, as well as electronic compositions characterized by bold, experimental sound. Sotomski employs live electronics and tape music, along with improvisations featuring unconventional instruments, e.g. the tape recorder. (AM)
