Krystian Kiełb

Composer, music theorist, lecturer and animator of musical life. Kiełb composes for various ensembles, from complex symphonic works through chamber and solo pieces (among others organ compositions), usually drawing from neoclassical forms. A vital chunk of Kiełb’s oeuvre includes vocal lyrics, mostly based on Polish and Latin texts, and the musical idiom of his works is strongly rooted in the 20th century tradition. (EC)
