Magdalena Cynk

Composer, teacher and carillon player. She is actively involved in the cultural life of her home town of Toruń, which is in itself one of the multiple sources of her inspiration. The artist’s other interests, which find reflection in her compositions, include astronomy and carillon music. The composer frequently employs traditional forms for her works and eagerly makes use of folk dances. The crucial part of her artistic activities is devoted to theatre music and educational compositions. (EC)
