Mikołaj Majkusiak

(*1983)

Composer, accordionist, arranger and producer. His music blends classical forms and composing technique with light music and jazz influences. Still, Majkusiak’s oeuvre cannot be classified as eclectic since he integrates diverse styles to attain a new musical quality. His compositions are characterized by sharp and motoric rhythms. Being an accordionist, Majkusiak frequently writes for this particular instrument, originally juxtaposing its timbre with those of other instruments. (KS)
