Monika Kędziora

Composer, teacher. She mostly composes for chamber line-ups, both vocal (with instruments) and purely instrumental. Her works are dominated by two principal sources of inspirations: literary texts, particularly in her works for solo voice, and natural phenomena and processes, including natural elements. The artist frequently employs extended performance techniques, with a strong emphasis put on the colour of the sound, which becomes the key component of her compositions. (EC)
