Composer, violinist, arranger. She has written solo and chamber works, as well as large-scale instrumental and vocal and instrumental pieces, frequently turning to electronics. Her compositions have been performed by such artists as Hilary Hahn, Orkest de ereprijs, Voix de Strass, and Kwadrofonik, among others. She has written stage works (including collaborations with the Warsaw Philharmonic Chamber Orchestra), and composed for theater, film, and contemporary dance performances. Burzyńska’s oeuvre is characteristically full of subtle, sophisticated tones, contrasted with a dense symphonic texture. (EC)
