Oleksii Shmurak

(*1986)

Ukrainian composer and performer of new music. Searching for his own musical language, he transcends firmly established means of expressions and juggles with styles and conventions, discovers new vocal techniques on the fly, improvises and engages in experiments with sound, utilizing traditional instruments and everyday items.
