Piotr Pawlik

(*1968)

Composer. His oeuvre frequently refers to minimal music, its repetitive structures and the technique of phase shifting. Pawlik also turns to electronics and digital sound processing. The aura of his electroacoustic works somewhat resembles the world of the 1980s synthesizers. The character of Pawlik’s compositions remains largely static, somewhat unreal and oneiric. (KS)
