Szymon Brzóska
(*1981)
Composer; collaborated with numerous world-famous choreographers in delivering music to contemporary dance performances. Significantly influenced by piano music, the style of his composition refers to the minimalism of Philip Glass and Max Richter. The reduction of sound material, motoric rhythms and repetitiveness render Brzóska’s music reflexive and meditative while its widely streaming phrases help his compositions retain a strong degree of emotionality.
