Vytautas Germanavičius

(*1960)

Lithuanian composer. Germanavičius’s soundscapes are pervaded by rich timbres, recycled techniques, and the exploration of expressive capacities of traditional instruments.  The works of the Lithuanian composer resound with echoes of minimalism, as the openwork structure of his pieces is formed through mutually contrasted, textured quasi-miniatures.
