Maciej Jabłoński

(*1974)

Cracow-based composer, one of the most traditional artists of his generation. He adapts the existing composing techniques and treats the electronic medium as a rightful member of the conventional orchestra, coming up with emotional and thought-provoking music. Jabłoński’s mosaic oeuvre is composed of microtonal jewels and multilayered textures – his sound allusions and metaphors depict the human mind while also referring to autobiographical content. (AM)
