Marcin Pączkowski

(*1983)

Composer, conductor and performer of electronic and acoustic music. He deals chiefly with electronic music by both processing acoustic instruments live and by synthesizing new sounds using Fourier series or signal forming. Pączkowski also experiments with movement sensors, which he uses to regulate and generate the sound course. He thus enables himself to provide musical translations of such phenomena as e.g. the movement of a dancer stimulated by music. This way Pączkowski may create multimedia pieces whose individual components mutually influence one another. (KS)
