Andrzej Kwieciński

(*1984)

Composer; studied with Paweł Mykietyn and Hanna Kulenty. Kwieciński’s compositions resemble panoramic sound frames of recognizable expression and timbre, resulting from his spectral interests and analogies drawn between painting and music. Glimmering planes and microtonal harmonies contrast with impure and unpleasant tones in a clash of procesually progressing, mutually developing forms. (AM)
