Bruno Coli

(*1957)

Italian composer of performing arts music. He has collaborated with numerous theater companies from across Europe, writing music to performances, musicals, and operas, as well as children’s theater. Although his oeuvre is rooted in the musical aesthetics, Coli also writes popular and rock music. He has composed music to contemporary Italian dramas as well as classical repertoire, including the works of Shakespeare and Moliere. His body of work also includes operas based on Edgar Allan Poe’s short stories. (EC)
