Dobromiła Jaskot

(*1981)

Composer; studied with Lidia Zielińska. Her compositions can be seen as contemplations on the sound matter, presented from multifarious perspectives. Jaskot’s sensitivity to nature – her interest in mysticism and spiritual rituals of various cultures – stimulates her to pursue the core of sound and reveal its internal nature. Her music echoes Grisey’s spectralism and concrete music which, given her technological expertise, enables Jaskot to devise unique, intriguing sounds and images. (AM)
