Composer and conductor. Her output comprises chamber and solo works, as well as vocal and instrumental compositions with religious and poetic texts, including her own. The artist employs the modernist, atonal musical language with the use of expanded performing techniques. Full of contrasts, her music is infused with very dark hues which refer to strong emotional experiences. (EC)
