Michał Talma-Sutt

(*1969)

Composer. Striving to find original forms on both macro- and microstructural levels, Sutt frequently turns to electronic media to develop new sounds. At the same time, he combines electronics with acoustic instruments, enabling the two to permeate each other. Sutt tends to avoid live-electronics, trying to model electronic parts individually. Densely overlapping timbres in the electronic layer of his works evoke associations with the tonal richness of the symphony orchestra. (KS)
