Paweł Łukaszewski

(*1968)

Composer, conductor, pedagogue, animator of music. Łukaszewski’s oeuvre focuses around the sacred, which pervades both his choral and instrumental pieces. He is valued first and foremost as a composer of choral works, in which he refers to liturgical texts and the Scriptures. Łukaszewski’s pieces feature frequent repetitions which confer them with meditative, litany qualities – a trait that typifies particularly  his vocal works. (KS)
