Paweł Tomaszewski

Pianist, composer, arranger. His oeuvre often refers to jazz standards, processing them in original ways to arrive at intriguing sounds, among others by utilizing the prepared piano. Tomaszewski combines warm and lyrical sounds with energetic rhythmic and repetitive narration. Also important in his compositions is improvisation. Working with artists from diverse fields of music, Tomaszewski uses his experience to blend various styles, from world music through modern jazz and electronic music. (KS)
