Rafał Janiak

Conductor and composer. In his conducting activity, Janiak interprets works composed between the 18th and the 21st century. His compositions are founded on classical forms – among others, he explores the principle of dialogue in the concertante technique. The sound in Janiak’s works, however, remains far removed from the classical major-minor system, turning instead to new timbre qualities. (EC)
