Reso Kiknadze

Georgian composer, saxophonist and pedagogue; he also graduated in classics. Kiknadze’s diverse musical interests span jazz, traditional Georgian song, electronic music and dance theatre. As a performer, he participates in numerous improvisation projects. Written for various chamber and orchestra ensembles and often employing electronics, Kiknadze’s works are characterized by experimental sound effects and probing of new timbres, draped in unusually calm, focused forms.
