Krzysztof Knittel

(*1947)

Composer and sound engineer. His music may be defined as structured diversity – as one of the most independent artists in the Polish musical landscape, Knittel consistently utilizes his experience in composing works for traditional instruments, as well as electroacoustic and computer-aided music, improvisations, intuitive music, and performance. The fusion of high-brow inspirations with the elements of popular culture allows him to implement the need for greater diversity often voiced by contemporary audiences. (AM)
